10/1 – 10/11 Southern Festival of Books
Readers and writers from across Tennessee, and the world, will celebrate the joy of reading and lifelong learning through free online sessions with more than 100 authors. There’s something for everyone of every age and every interest!
Saturday, 10/3 Free Poetry Workshop
Titled “From Impulse to Impact” and led by Poetry in the Boro founder Kory Wells for MTSU Saturdays at Todd. For ages 14 and up; all writing levels.
12:30 – 2:30 with optional Q&A on publishing to follow until 3:00

Saturday, 10/10 Say It Louder: Time for Change
An international poetry open mic, plus a panel discussion about Black Lives Matter and what an ideal community would look like, followed by open mic. Poetry in the Boro is one of the local hosts, and our own Nick Bush is one of the featured poets.

Sundays, 10/11 & 10/18 Square Peg, Round Hole: A Tennessee STEAM Festival Workshop and Performance, with the Bloom Stage
A multi-generational, collaborative workshop in conjunction with Tennessee STEAM Festival on October 11, 2020 that will culminate in a virtual live-stream performance for ages 13- 103. Led by Kara Kemp and Kory Wells.
