We missed getting together in July, but the break gave Kory and the team a chance to regroup and get ORGANIZED. Like, we’ve never done this much pre-planning in all of our (drum roll, please) nine-going-on-ten years of events! That’s right, this August marks our ninth anniversary – the start of our tenth year!
To celebrate, we are planning to produce an anthology that celebrates the work of all you creative people actively involved in PitB gatherings, both now and throughout our 10 year history. We’ll be posting the submission details soon (with a submission deadline of 9/30), so be thinking about what two to three poems you want to send us.
As if that’s not enough, we’re also going to have an anthology release party – mark your calendars for Sunday evening, March 22, at the Walnut House. We’re very grateful to the Bloom Stage for collaborating with us on this event to celebrate the anthology and tell the story of our first 10 years and what it’s meant to you, our community.
